Composed by E. W. Nevin. Arranged by Paul Kajzar. A Cappella,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 32 pages. Paul Kajzar, Gyllcott Music #688172. Published by Paul Kajzar, Gyllcott Music (A0.1083953).

This song was originally composed by Ethelbert W. Nevin for SATB voices with solo violin obligato. The text is a poem by Francis W. Bourdillon. This arrangement is for four voices (SSAA) and either solo violin, flute or Bb clarinet. Given the small scale and intimate nature of the piece, one or two singers per part would be the most appropriate. To accommodate the SSAA voicing the piece has been transposed up a tone from the original. The set comprises voice/conductor score (9 copies, 3 pages per copy) and separate instrumental parts. Difficulty level : Intermediate.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
