Very few biographical details exist regarding the composer, although it is known that he was awarded a First Prize at the Paris Conservatoire in 1806 and was a member of the celebrated Reicha Wind Quintet. This fugue is a lively piece and has a memorable subject whose rhythmic elements are found throughout the movement. The set comprises full score and parts. Difficulty level : Intermediate/Advanced.
