‘My Blue Heaven’, written by Walter Donaldson with lyrics by George A. Whiting, first came to notice in 1927 in the show Ziegfeld Follies. As a popular jazz standard, it has subsequently been recorded many times by well-known artists. In 1940, Artie Shaw recorded it with his Big Band and he then played it again with his small group the Gramercy Five.  This arrangement, with its mainly Clarinet lead, pays tribute to the latter’s style.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
