Composed by Nancy DeVries. Arranged by Nancy DeVries. Christian,Easter,Lent,Religious,Sacred. Score. 3 pages. Nancy DeVries #987320. Published by Nancy DeVries (A0.1404145).

"Prelude on Ubi Caritas" is a short organ piece based on a Gregorian chant hymn tune, "Ubi Caritas et Amor". The hymn is associated with the foot washing ceremony of Holy Thursday, which highlights the command of Christ to "love one another as I have loved you". This organ work suggests the hymn tune and attempts to musically evoke the Divine mysteries of Holy Thursday including the Institution of the Holy Eucharist.
This evocative work is suitable for all Sundays of the Church Year, and especially suitable for Holy Thursday, the Easter Triduum, Confirmation, Pentecost and weddings.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
