A fun and engagin piece with a soulful groove based on the pentatonic scale for beginner brass groups which provides players the opportunity to possibly have thier first go at improvising! Written to originally feature a solo Bb Baritone Horn, this part can be played by any band instrument. Pentatonic Penguin was written for Lions Debut Band (Cheshrie U.K.) and perfromed at the National Youth Championships of Great Britain in 2024 as part of their 'Animals' themed programme along with Baby Shark, Monkey March and Eye of the Tiger- (all specially written for the debut band and avialable via this website).

Playing time is 4'10.

The playing range for all players is limited and note names are also provided to help all young performers access the music!
