Composed by Jules Massenet. Arranged by Peter Graves. 19th Century,Classical,Contest,Festival. 354 pages. Peter Graves Orchestras, Inc. #977847. Published by Peter Graves Orchestras, Inc. (A0.1394366).

Jules Massenet was a French composer of opera and theatrical works, and at one point was the leading composer of opera in France. Massenet wrote seven suites for orchestra of which this is the seventh. This suite was first performed in 1882 and was inspired by memories of the province of Alsace and the Franco-Prussian War.

It is an inspiring work for both the performer and listener and has already enjoyed a debut performance at one Americas leading summer music festivals.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
