Published by Tony Tripp Music (A0.1391193).This is my own arrangement of a traditional eucharistic hymn - Adoro Te Devote. The Tune is also used for "GodHead Here in Hiding." The idea behind the arrangement is to allow the piece to breathe and for the words to be heard. How I like to perform it is to have the organ enter first with the vocals. Then I add in each string instrument in this order - Cello, Viola, Violin II, Violin I. (Each instrument is stacked on one another.) Once all instruments are in, they stay in until the end of the piece. It can be played with all instruments throughout. It can also be played as an instrumental for meditation after communion. The last 4 bars can be used as an intro or a tag at the end.
