"Baby, Won't You Please Come Home", a blues song written by Charles Warfield and Clarence Williams in 1919. The song has been covered by many musicians and has become a jazz standard. The first hit version was Bessie Smith's 1923 recording, which stayed on the charts for four weeks peaking at No. 6. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in many of our arrangements and we added a few left-hand fills to keep that smooth rhythm flowing!

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
