A 7/8 bottom bass (preferred 5th bass) groove is sure to interest both other percussionists and casual viewers! Gone Fishin' can serve as a great exercise for intermediate drumlines looking to work on accent vs. tap height with diddles and paradiddles, work on counting and playing in mixed-meter time signatures, and is great for the lot or the stands! Both a full score and individual parts are included with PDF download. As for the title, the main motif came to me while I was out fishin'. Enjoy!
