Composed by Richard E Brown. Christmas,Lent,Religious. Score. 6 pages. Dacker Music #949690. Published by Dacker Music (A0.1365365).

Possibly dating from the Middle Ages, this English folk tune was first published with secular lyrics in “English County Songs,” an anthology compiled in 1893. It was first introduced as a hymn tune in “The English Hymnal” of 1906 set to the words of Horatius Bonar’s “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say.” It is also commonly sung to Louis Benson’s Christmas carol "O Sing a Song of Bethlehem" and Fred Pratt Green's Passion hymn "To Mock Your Reign, O Dearest Lord." The tune is named for the English town of Kingsfold. Also available scored for brass quintet. Level M - Duration 2:40.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
