What could a man see if he was born blind?
Would there be pictures alive in his mind?
In days of Jesus, and through his great power,
He brought clear sight in a man’s anxious hour.
After anointing each eye with mixed clay,
Soon darkened sight would be cured in God’s way.
Washing with water his eyesight was clear,
Viewing this miracle with Jesus near.
What could a man choose when he sees the sun?
Would he claim truth if God’s sure light he shunned?
Some souls are blinded when in heaven’s light;
Others see marvels in darkness of night.
Choosing to see and believe in God’s love,
Witnessing wonders and grace from up above,
Brings daily miracles through stunning sight.
If one is blind, he may access new light.
When one is blind, he may witness God’s light.
