Mrs. Waterman was a late 19th/early 20th Century Gospel hymnist from Pasadena, California. Sections A and C are the verse. Sections B and D are the chorus. There is a modulation before section C with the help of a French augmented sixth chord. The hymn then has a descant added by yours truly. Just a few measures from the end, there is a deceptive cadence, followed by the last two measures completing the song.
