By Jeff Bjorck. By traditional Swedish melody. Arranged by Jeff Bjorck. 19th Century,Children,Christian,Religious,Traditional. Score. 5 pages. Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck #863426. Published by Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck (A0.1271034).

Jeff Bjorck's original solo piano arrangement of this Swedish Folk Tune appears on his album/CD, "Keepsakes in the Attic." Bjorck's bridge is virtually as long as the original melody, and he weaves them together seamlessly. The lovely tune and accompanying words in English harken back to a simpler time. Whereas it has been used as a lullaby, the lyrics touch on deep themes, including the hopeful truth that “Neither life nor death shall ever from the Lord his children sever.”.
