Ludwig Van Beethoven (1770-1827) remains one of the most influential composers ever to have lived. His Op. 87 Trio originally composed for two Oboes and Cor Anglais in 1795 is sublimely arranged for Brass instruments by Robert King. Beethoven's Trio was originally composed in C major and has since been arranged for a variety of instrumentations. King's arrangement is intended for Trumpet Horn or Trumpet and Baritone Trombone or Horn. The Trio is made up of four movements; 1) Allegro 2) Adagio Cantabile 3) Menuetto and 4) Finale. For all aspiring advanced Brass trios King's arrangement of Beethoven's popular Op. 87 Trio cannot be missed.
