Gratias Agimus Tibi is a work by James Whitbourn for Unaccompanied Voices (in any combination) with an optional 'Amen' for SATB Choir and Organ ad lib. A setting of Latin text by Nigel Palmer the workwas composed for the college grace of St Stephen's House Oxford. Please note that the lyrics are in Latin. A review in the June 2016 edition of Organist's Review says that 'this anthem would be ofgreat use for St Stephen's Day and any service that may focus on the Saints...Another enjoyable composition from James Whitbourn who is fast becoming a very important and original voice in the field of church music.'

The Voices Stilled (Agnus Dei) by James Whitbourn was commissioned by John Snelling and the Shipley Arts Festival (director Andrew Bernardi) and first performed on 14 July 2013 in Lancing College Chapel by theWestminster Williamson Voices (director James Jordan) choirs from across West Sussex and the Bernardi Chamber Orchestra with Bruce Martin (flute) conducted by the composer. Pure river of water of life by James Whitbourn was first performed on May 17th 2008 by the Central Bucks High School-West Doylestown Chamber Choir Choirmaster Dr Joseph Ohrt.This performance was conducted by Charles Bruffy at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Trenton New Jersey USA.

James Whitbourn's arrangement of the classic carol Silent Night is for Children's Voices optional SATB Choir and Piano. A performance of the entire work lasts around 4 minutes.A review in the September 2016 issue of Organist's Review called this piece 'approachable and hugely effective. There is a piano accompaniment quite independent in places which adds to the joy.'
