new pianists (and even some not so new) are often
rather weak on the reading of key of F. So this is the
first one of a serie of pieces of music having the
purpose to work on this problem. This one concerns just
the notes from F2 to C3. musically speaking, "no sun
for the crow" is the following of "sleepy rain" (yes
this is no very shiny but a third one with a better
weather should complete the serie)
Report problem This sheet music is part of the collection of lorenzo66 :
In 2020, seeing that many
students had problems to read
the key of F on scores,
I've written a little
review program on key of F
including reading of key of F
and little studies which were
a direct application of what
has been read . Even if not
fully followed in all of them,
the idea in writing these
studies was to have a left
hand not moving on a sequence
of five notes and an easy
right hand so as to easily
play the score without
watching the hands. The
correct sequence to work them
is : 1. Sleepy rain 2. nosun
for the crow 3. Dawn City 4.
Leaving with the wind 5. Out
of time / Wait and rush
downhill 6. The first dance 7.
through the storm 8. Back to
dawn city 9. Unknown Sea /
Better not mess with Esperanza
