This Waltz was composed by Johannes Brahms in 1865
originally for piano 4 hands. In 1866 he made two
different solo piano arrangements of the 16 waltzes
opus 39, a concert and an easy version both published
in 1867. First performance of the concert arrangement
for solo piano by himself in Hamburg, 15 November 1868.
