This is a transcription of Atahualpa Yupanqui's
instrumental version of the beautiful song "¡Qué
linda sois!", a popular vidala from the province of
Santiago de Estero in northern Argentina. It was picked
up and published by Manuel Gómez Carrillo (1883-1968)
in his compilation of folkloristic music. Atahualpa
Yupanqui recorded his instrumental version in the year
1980 for the argentine record label "Microfon" and it
was first released on the album "El Canto Del Viento".
