It was night. I was sitting on the stern of a boat,
contemplating the the city while the waves crashed
easily on the ship's hull and a gentle breeze waved
by.
The first chords are thick and heavy, representing the
sea in the darkness of night; there are also agitated
parts representing a stronger wind.
Then the piece plays with the thickness of the sea and
the weightlessness of the wind, ending with these two
ideas combined.
