BOREAS: The God of the North Wind who had two faces - one facing where he was going, the other from whence he came. He was the male counterpart to Eos. 4. CIRCE: The Enchantress who changed men into beasts. Ulysses was given a sprig from a certain plant by Hermes which allowed him to resist her charms. 5. Combi ning a text by Charles Anthony Silvestri with syllables inspired by the song tradition (joik) of the Sami people in Scandinavia, Sing the earth is a tribute to our common home, the earth, as well as to music and the different musical traditions and cultures around the world. Upbeat, syncopated and celebratory outer sections sandwich a slower, more contemplative middle section, which describes the beauty of our planet. A showstopper piece which will be enjoyed by singers and listeners alike.
