Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart : Edition for Clarinet in B flat (KELL)

These Six Pieces composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart have been specially arranged for Celtic Harp or Harp with pedals by Ma té Etcheverry. Mozart's shortcompositions like these Six Pieces translate beautifully to Harp giving his Minuets and Allegros a vibrant new life.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Wind Divertimenti KV 439b later appeared in a version for Piano entitled Viennese Sonatinas. Arrangements of these sonatinas for Flute and Piano will provide flautists with much needed repertoire of music from this period. Piano Pieces from the Nannerl Music Book-Piano Pieces From The 'Nannerl Music Book' contains 17 pieces composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart when he was between five and eight years old.When W. A. Mozart's sister Maria AnnaMozart known as Nannerl started receiving Piano lessons her father gave her a music book in which he and others gradually wrote down little recital pieces.This book was soon passed on to her brother and noticing hisremarkable talent for composing the children's father wrote down some of his son's first works in the book.This Henle Urtext edition is taken from the complete volume of Mozart’s Piano Pieces (HN22) and contains a newpreface by the editor Ullrich Scheideler. Hoffmeister Quartet and Prussian Quartets-Over the next few years all 26 of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's String Quartets will be published by Henle in an Urtext Edition of both score and parts. All previous editions have left much to be desired for example asconcerns the correct placement of dynamic markings.Henle's edition made with the artistic collaboration of the Armida Quartet draws upon the large body of modern knowledge concerning Mozart philology andperformance practice. We begin with what are chronologically speaking the final four quartets: the so-called 'Hoffmeister' Quartet K. 499 and the three 'Prussian' Quartets K. 575 589 and590.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's (1756-1791) Flute Concerto in G was written by the composer in 1778. The Concerto remains widely studied and performed on the Flute making it one of the most important Concerti in the instrument's repertoire. Concerto in G is in three movements; 1. Allegro maestoso 2. Adagio ma non troppo and 3. Rondo: Tempo di Menuetto. The first and last movements are in the tonic key whilst the second movement is in the subdominant key of D major. A Dutch flautist of the time Ferdinand de Jean commissioned Mozart for four Flute quartets and three Flute concerti. However thecomposer who famously disliked the Flute only completed three quartets and two concertos. Instead of composing a second concerto Mozart rearranged his Oboe Concerto with substantial changes for it to fit with the Flute. This edition of Mozart's Concerto in G includes cadences by virtuosos Taffanel Gaubert and Bozza making for an unmissable version of the famed work.

arranged for Oboe and Piano-The Oboe Quartet in F major K. 370/368b was written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in early 1781. The quartet originally arranged for oboe violin viola and cello is presented in this edition for Oboe with Piano accompaniment. In 1780 Mozart was invited to Munich to visit Elector Karl Theodor who had commissioned the opera Idomeneo for a carnival celebration. While in Munich Mozart renewed an acquaintance with Friedrich Ramm a virtuoso oboist in the Munich orchestra. It was for Ramm that Mozart composed the quartet in order to show off his virtuosity and the improvements that had been made to the oboe at that time. One way that this piece showed off theinstrument was the use of the 'high F' above the staff a note rarely played in any repertoire previously written for the oboe. This piece is a work of chamber music but it has elements that harken to other musical genres and requires a fair amount of virtuosity. Because of its large amount of virtuosic playing on the part of the oboe and the large degree to which the strings simply accompany the oboist it almost resembles a concerto but with only with four players instead of an entire orchestra. Despite this there are also a number of places within the work that require ensemble playing for example the famous 13-bar passage in the finale in which the oboe plays in common time against a 6/8 accompaniment.
