The Nord Grand is equipped with a high-end, heavy-touch keyboard with triple sensors, which reproduces, with exceptional precision, the actions of hammers. THE GRAND EXPERIENCE The Nord Grand is the first North stage piano to be equipped with triple sensors, able to follow the movement of the hammers rather than the keys. This technology gives the keyboard a soft, dynamic feel, similar to that of a grand piano. A Responsive Hammer Kawai Keyboard with an Ivory Touch finish. Perfectly balanced and very responsive, this three-sensor keyboard conceals an advanced mechanism that offers incredible control, both for percussive and pianistic games. The addition of an Ivory Touch finish also ensures optimal and very realistic sensations. THE PIANO SECTION Nord Grand offers a wide selection of unique, straight, electric and electronic pianos from the exclusive Nord Piano Library. Factory Bank The North Grand Factory Bank includes 10 Grand Pianos, 9 Uprights, 10 Electric Pianos, Clavinets, Digital Pianos and more, from the Nord Piano Library. In addition, the sampling techniques used by Nord capture the extraordinary nuances and precise character of the original instruments, with breathtaking realism. All sounds can be easily replaced with the Nord Sound Manager. The library is constantly updated with new, unique, world-class, and free sounds. Advanced String Resonance Feature: The Advanced String Resonance function from Nord reproduces the complex interaction of piano strings, which resonate at their fundamental or harmonic frequencies, when other notes are played (for Grand and Upright pianos). It also adds the rich sound of a real piano when the sustain pedal is engaged. Triple North Pedal with Dynamic Pedal Sound: The North triple pedal included with the Nord Grand features Soft, Sostenuto and Dynamic Sustain pedals. The latter also activates the Pedal Noise, which dynamically simulates the mechanical noise of lifting and releasing the damper. This latest collection includes the exclusive sounds of the legendary Mellotron and Chamberlin. All sounds can be easily replaced with the Nord Sound Manager. The Sample Synth section is equipped with essential settings, such as attack, decay / release, dynamics (filters / velocity) and dedicated Category buttons, for fast navigation and sample selection. It is also possible to create your own samples using the Nord Sample Editor software for Windows and Mac. All effects can be freely assigned to the Piano or Sample Synth section. This section includes the following effects: Tremolo, Phaser, Chorus, Pan, Wah, RM, Flanger, Vibe, EQ, Delay and Reverb. The Reverb effect is of three different types: Hall, Stage and Room, themselves with a Bright option. The Nord Grand will be available in the spring of 2019.
