Leaving This is one of Richie´s favorite songs. The original trio recording is on Hubris (ECM) and then again on Tribute to Chet Baker. Chet recorded it numerous times. We have asked composer/arranger Jim McNeely to create a feature for solo vocal but the chart also sounds great as a flugelhorn or tenor feature. Jim creates unusual colors and amazing sounds by using just the standard big band instrumentation. Masterful!
