Your gentleness O God of grace was commissioned and dedicated to the memory of Barbara Bubb by Christine Hall and Geoffrey Rowell. It was first performed at a celebration of the Eucharist in Winchester Cathedral on 5 February 2012 by the Cathedral Choir conducted by Andrew Lumsden.

Phineas Fletcher's famous text in a spectacular anthem setting for mixed voices by Paul Mealor whose 'Ubi caritas' featured at the Royal Wedding in April 2011 and whose 'Wherever you are' became the No 1 UK Christmas single the same year recorded by Gareth Malone and the Military Wives.

Paul Mealor's setting of the Latin hymn, Ubi Caritas , was composed for the Marriage of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales, K.G. to Miss Catherine Middleton and first performed by the Choirs of Westminster Abbey and Her Majesty's Chapel Royal, St James's Palace, conducted by James O'Donnell, at the wedding service at Westminster Abbey on Friday, 29th April 2011. For SATB choir (with divisi). 'My new piece, Ubi Caritas for the Royal Wedding, takes its text from the sixth century Christian hymn that was normally sung at the service for the washing of the feet on Maundy Thursday. The words, originally in Latin, mean: 'Where charity and love are, God is there. Let us come together in God's love and let us love each other with a sincere heart.' Between Eternity And Time by Paul Mealor was commissioned by Irene Drummond with funds provided by the Scottish Arts Council and first performed by her with Alasdair Beatson (piano) at King’s College Chapel Aberdeen on 6 November 2008.

The second of four madrigals on rose texts 'Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal' for SATB (with divisi). Commissioned by John Armitage Memorial and first performed by the joint choirs of the University of St Andrews Chapel Choir University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir and the Edinburgh University Chamber Choir conducted by Michael Bawtree on October 28th 29th & 31st 2010.

Paul Mealor's Behold A Tender Babe is a work for Unaccompanied SATB Choir commissioned by the Hauser-Oberschneider family to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Summer Fields School. The work sets extracts from Robert Southwell's 'In Freezing Winter Night' and lasts around 4 minutes. A review in the September 2016 issue of Organist's Review states that the 'music responds sensitively and dramatically to the lines of the lyric it chooses to set rising triumphantly at the words 'with joy approach' before gently falling away as it repeatedly insists 'behold a tender babe'.' No less difficult but also no less rewarding is PaulMealor’s Behold a tender babe written a year earlier. But it is carefully written so that the difficulties are manageable. The two places where sopranos have a top C are the only points where sopranos divide so only the first sopranos ascend there. The music follows the details of the words with drama at ‘do homage to thy King’ and then falling away most beautifully to ‘behold a babe’. - Julian Elloway

A Welsh Prayer is a setting of a poem by Grahame Davis for SATB Choir and two Harps composed by Paul Mealor. A Welsh Prayer was commissioned by Holywell Music and the North Wales International Music Festival as a gift to celebrate the 65th birthday of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.The piece was premiered by the Aberdeen University Chamber Choir with harpists Hannah Stone and Catrin Finch conducted by the composer on 22 September 2013 at St Asaph’s Cathedral as part of the North Wales International Music Festival.Vocal Score: NOV294239 and Full Score: NOV294228
