I was born in 1959. I live in The Netherlands, with my wife, two children and a dog.
At the age of nine I started playing the piano. After completing piano lessons at the local music school, aged 17, I haven’t had any further musical education. Having worked as a biologist for some time, I switched to IT and nowadays I work in the IT department of the local hospital.
I like to improvise on the piano, and with the help of music notation software I try to capture some of my improvisations.
Until now my output is limited to short pieces for piano. Maybe I will try composing for other instruments later on.
I have not had any education in musical composition, so any comment is highly appreciated.
