Leandro Cavalcante (Brazil, 1986) began his studies when he was 8 years old at Melodia Music Academy in Fortaleza, CE, Brazil. Strongly influenced by his father (musician and composer) and his musician circle of friends, soon the talented youngster started his preparation for the University, studying piano and acoustic guitar at the City's Conservatory. Nowadays, Leandro studies composition at the State Music University of Ceará (Universidade Estadual do Ceará) with famous Brazilian musicians like Liduino Pitombeira and Alfredo Barros. There he makes researches and participates of some music and art projects. Conductor, composer and performer, his pieces are regularly played at important places all over the country.
