Alain Paul Raymond Lefébure was born in Paris in , 1946 then left Paris to live in a small town, beginning his violin studies there at the age of 9. In 1961, he studied clarinet and got, in 1964, a First price Clarinet soloist in Fontainebleau. He joined, in 1966, a military band in Paris where he studied harmony and orchestra conducting. While taking private violin and viola lessons in Paris with Jacques Spajer, he also studied medicine and tried to conciliate the both careers, using medicine to help musicians, especially violinists, and developing a musical approach to help children with small psychological or nervous disorders, prompted by the passion of pedagogy. As autodidact and scientific he has to search the source of things but keeps the freedom of the ignorant man in his musical conception.
Interest : Skill level : Oui, J'adore cet morceau, M.
Lefebure.
Spectacular and unfurling.
Elements of Berlioz. Most
amazing tonality sustains all
the parts.
Bis!
Interest : Skill level : grandiose, horn, clarinets,
the quivering ropes ... the
whole orchestra: copy and
paste color. Between
Romanticism and Satie, as the
Russian spirit, the wonderful
tubular bells ... full of
quotations, extracts,
nostalgia and even a harmony
that gets confused. The three
shots late. Amazing. We no
longer know where you are.
Between Russia and France
certainly. Balkan nothing,
nothing of America. Strange
music. Cubist cutting, many
whites, vacuum, hollow. The
sea swells ever, no
development, sobriety, colors,
stains. Impressionism to
Utrillo, Picasso's Blue
Period. There is the classic
sleek, short of Romanticism,
the Ellypse, magic, lots of
light and movement magic,
poetry and disordered waves
around the boat ... Bravo
Alain, as all Alain, you are
very talented. Regards
François. grandiose, cor,
clarinettes, le frémissement
des cordes … tout l'orchestre:
un copier-coller de couleur.
Entre Romantisme et Satie,
L'esprit russe aussi, ces
merveilleuses cloches
tubulaires… plein de
citations, d'extraits, de
nostalgie et même une harmonie
qui s'embrouille. Les 3 coups
de la fin. Etonnant. On ne
sait plus où l'on est. Entre
Russie et France très
certainement. Rien des
Balkans, rien de l'Amérique.
Etrange musique. Découpage
cubiste, beaucoup de blancs,
de vide, de creux. La mer ne
gonfle jamais, pas de
développement, de la sobriété,
des couleurs, des taches.
Impressionisme à la Utrillo,
Période bleu de Picasso. Il y
a du classique épuré, du
romantisme bref, de l'ellypse,
de la magie, beaucoup de
lumière et le mouvement
magique, désordonné et
poétique des ondes autour de
la barque… Bravo Alain, comme
tous les Alain, tu es très
doués. Amicalement François.

Interest : Skill level : This is little suite bellows
monumentally as it begins,
then sparkles, softening
contrapuntally. Technically
seamless, I wish that you
would have introduced more of
your modulations from the dead
march in the preceding
section. As strong as your
melodic line in the beginning
is, it seems to become
tautological. If this is the
point, please disregard the
criticism; but if it goes
unnoticed (which I doubt,)
this might give way to a more
diverse Introduction. But at
any rate, thank you for
sharing this masterwork with
us!
Interest : Skill level : advanced to the quiet
sunshine. A song illuminates
the treetops together to take
counsel. The druid is trying
to turn his words but elphes
tumble trunks so loudly that
officers call to order the
troublemakers. The sky
darkened as the Lord's Supper
is reverently officiated ...
Thanks Alain for giving us
such musical saga. All your
songs come from beyond the
Rhine, Britain and beyond, at
the time of the Ostrogoths and
Burgundians, Normans also
entered our soil welcoming.
See you soon. Empty all that
your heart has musical
adventures to tell us. We need
it. Cordially. François.
avancée tranquille vers le
rayon de soleil. Un chant
éclaire la cîme des arbres
réunis pour tenir conseil. Le
druide essaie de tourner sa
phrase mais les elphes
dégringolent des troncs
tellement bruyamment que les
officiants rappellent à
l'ordre les fauteur de
trouble. Le ciel s'assombrit
tandis que la cêne est
officiée révérencieusement …
Merci Alain de nous offrir
pareille saga musicale. Tous
tes airs viennent d'outre
Rhin, de Bretagne et au-delà,
à l'époque où les Ostrogots et
les Burgondes, les Normands
aussi pénétraient notre sol
accueillant. A bientôt. Vide
tout ce que ton coeur a
d'aventures musicales à nous
conter. Nous en avons besoin.
Cordialement. François.
Interest : Skill level : Many of fragility, remorse
after each musical idea: it's
completely fantastic. Writing
does not come naturally, is
his great charme.Merci Alain
for these emotions that leave
me speechless, which make me
doubt everything. With your
music, I must start all over
again. Hesitation, Rodin's The
Thinker moved by the
complexity of the world. The
music is loud.
François.--Beaucoup de
fragilité, des remords après
chaque idée musical: c'est
complètement fantastique.
L'écriture ne va pas de soi,
c'est son grand charme.Merci
Alain pour ces émotions qui me
laissent sans voix, qui me
font douter de tout. Grâce à
ta musique, je dois tout
recommencer à zéro. Hésiter,
c'est Rodin, le penseur ému
devant la complexité du monde.
Cette musique est forte.
François.

Interest : Skill level : A morceau reminiscent of
Saint-Saens and Debussy, the
impressionist modulations sing
effortlessly, unlike some
earlier pieces. The occasional
dissonant moments are treated
in such a delicato way as to
seem merely whimsical. A
triumphant set of songs. Bis,
Monsieur Lefebure.
