Ballade for Organ and English Horn-Written in 1949 for English hornist Louis Speyer the beauty of this piece is just as obvious today. With varying tempos and frequent modulations this piece takes on a life of its own. Optional parts for violin viola andclarinet are included adding to the richness of the setting. This is an excellent concert choice.
