Seven easy pieces for solo Piano by Russian composer Shostakovich. In essence they have been collated and compiled from his own Ballet Suites and are indicitive of the style of his Children's Notebook Op.59. Based on various dances these pieces are interesting and enjoyable for developing pianists.

For this collection of pieces Nicolai Podgornov has produced masterful arrangements of classics from Russian operas ballets and symphonies.
