Smike is a stunning musical in two acts written and composed in 1971 by Roger Holman and Simon May. It has all the ingredients for your performance in school or amateur dramatics society. A lively pop musical it isloosely based on Charles Dickens’ celebrated novel Nicholas Nickleby. The story sees a group of restless school children go back in time to the world of Charles Dickens and discover that there are plenty of advantages toliving in the 20th century.
