One Silent Night - SATB Score with Performance CD

James Whitbourn's arrangement of the classic carol Silent Night is for Children's Voices optional SATB Choir and Piano. A performance of the entire work lasts around 4 minutes.A review in the September 2016 issue of Organist's Review called this piece 'approachable and hugely effective. There is a piano accompaniment quite independent in places which adds to the joy.'

Arranged for SATB here are five all-time classic Christmas songs with a warm and nostalgic feeling. O Holy Night and Silent Night both originated in 19th century Europe while Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas was introduced by Judy Garland in a 1944 Hollywood musical. Silver Bells was a 1950 Livingston-Evans pop hit but surely the most famous of them all is Irving Berlin’s White Christmas the 1940 song for which its composer had high hopes the moment he completed it. Conceived as a nostalgic number White Christmas was a slow starter but went on to become a huge success and formany the ultimate Christmas song. These arrangements lend themselves to being performed separately or in seamless succession for a Classic Christmas recital audiences will love.
