This original composition by Mark Hayes offers a non-traditional approach to Lenten or Easter services. The easy syncopated rhythms are not too difficult for a good intermediate pianist and the repetition in the vocal partsmakes this piece accessible to all choirs youth or adult. Beginning with Gethsemane and building to Resurrection Day Didn't I See My Lord moves gradually higher in both melody and mood finally rejoicing in the glory ofthe Lord as it is reflected in the faces of those who believe.
