Starting with a drum cadence and gradually adding sections of the band one at a time this very easy march is perfect for your beginning band's first concert. A great way to introduce the various sections of the band to your audience!

In Theme Park Fun! your orchestra pays a visit to an amusement park. During your visit you will experience some spectacular rides and attractions this theme park offers. The uniqueness of Theme Park Fun! is the interplay between music and(moving) images. Animations and illustrations support the visual composition.Part 1: The Entrance & Parade [with animation]The opening of the park is a fact. A day full of fun and pleasure awaits! You and the other visitors willbe confronted with all the rides attractions and adventures the theme park has to offer. Which ride shall we do first?! There is so much to do and experience on this day in the park! A parade of colorful floats and park figures is passing by.Letthe fun begin!Part 2: The Haunted House [with animation]The only ride in the park that is not related to fun is the Haunted House. Here visitors will be challenged to visit a house full of ghosts creepy figures and otherominous things. The clock strikes twelve there is no turning back. Ghosts are whispering yelling screaming... Fortunately it is almost one oclock so we can leave this creepy place quickly.Part 3: The Swinging Galleon [withillustrations]What a huge pirate ship! Each time you swing back and forth you will feel that weird feeling in your stomach. When you are thrown completely into the top you will have a fantastic view over the park but you can not enjoy itfor long. Before you know the ship swings back the other way.Part 4: The Fairy Tale Ride [with illustrations]After all those exciting and spectacular rides and attractions it is time for a peaceful tour in The Fairy Tale Ride.Surrounded by a fairytale setting you will discover fable figures talking animals and colorful designs. Such a beauty and tranquility. Having had this experience we are ready again for the big rides in the park!Part 5: The Bumper Cars[with illustrations]Now its time to crawl behind the wheel of the Bumper Cars! Shall we all chase the conductor?! Before you know you are hit by another visitor or you will bump against someone else. In this tough ride you can prove yourselfas a real driver or perhaps as a really bad one.Part 6: The Roller Coaster [with illustrations]The largest fastest and scariest ride in the park ... we should definitely do the Roller Coaster! All together in the train theover-the-shoulder restraints are lowering... be ready to ride. The train leaves the station and is heading for the big lift hill. It will be very scary when the train reaches the top and the train will be plunged down the first drop! Loops corkscrews and other spectacular coaster elements will follow... Before you know it the ride of your life is over. Shall we ride it again?!Part 7: Leaving the Park [with animation]Unfortunately everything comes to an end. This work in two movements was written for the 50th anniversary of ?Harmonie St. Cecilia? in Oudenburg Belgium and is dedicated to its conductor Arne Wyntin.The first part is rather quiet and pastoral in character and is written in a gently rocking 12/8 time. The tranquility of the area around the medieval town of Oudenburg a rustic region not far from the North Sea is expressed in a striking fashion. After a beautiful orchestral climax the second part begins which is inspired by the Roman past of Oudenburg. A somewhat oppressive and impending introduction leads to the musical reflection of an army parade: Oudenburg was a so-called ?castellum ? and the remains ofthe fortress are still visible in the current town plan. A more dynamic passage follows featuring the low brass. After that the solemn rhythm of the parade is recaptured culminating in a triumphant ending.

‘Circus Delight’ is a five-part suite which is set how could it be otherwise in a big circus tent. The suite starts with a part called ‘Entrance’. The orchestra positioned above the entrance of the ring asks for the attention of the audience and then the ring announcer enters. The show can begin! The elephants play a central role in the first act. These colossal grey animals are rather slow and perform their tricks in a moderate tempo. (‘Elephant Blues’) How different are ‘The Acrobats’. At high speed they run jump and fly through the ring until ....... It gets very exciting. Fortunately all’s well that ends well and they take their leave of the audienceat a trot. Everyone knows and yet it is mostly not spoken about that when a clown has taken off his red nose and rubbed off his make-up his face off-stage is not always a happy one. (‘Tears of the Clown’) The piece ends on a cheerful note with ‘The Parade’ in which all the artists make their entrance in the ring once again to gratefully acknowledge the audience’s overwhelming applause.

COME ONE AND ALL! Come see the great Circus Bamboni! This four movement work with flexible four part instrumentation (+ Drum Kit) will amaze and charm you like no other. The first movement features the band as it tunes up and prepares for the show. Then the talented trapeze artists make an appearance as they fly through the sky high above the audience. The elephants parade around the ring with their very own Elephant Samba and the clowns follow leaving you in stitches! A thunderous chord and lots of applause bring the show to a breathtaking finale.

Ideal for the concert programmer these arrangements are of two much-loved classics and yet offer flexibility of instrumental line-up. After the first volume of Centrestage featuring Dvorak's Largo ('From New World' Symphony) and Mussorgski's Parade (Pictures at an Exhibition) now the most popular piece from Weill's 'Threepenny Opera' and from Bizet's 'Carmen' can be performed by chamber groups or equally well enlarged with more players to each part.These straightforward arrangements allow the soloist a chance to shine and come with a helpful but optional piano accompaniment for rehearsal or for supporting the performance. Tailor-made as concert items thesepieces will familiarize young instrumentalists with standard musical repertoire and additionally encourage them to listen attentively. Most importantly they will experience the pleasure of music making with others.
