This volume presents twently interesting and full-size studies for vibraphone players to practice technique and rhythm.During the last decade there have been enormous developments in the technical possibilities and playing methods of the vibraphone. Dit boek bevat uitstekend lesmateriaal dat speciaal is geschreven voor beginnende slagwerkers - die over slechts een aantal basisvaardigheden beschikken. In de twintig etudes komen de volgende technieken aan bod: pedaalgebruik, stokdempen,onafhankelijkheid van de linker- en rechterhand, wisselen van akkoordspel naar melodiespel met twee stokken, en het onafhankelijk gebruik van de stokken in één hand.
