The Long Journey Home I believe is an inflection point
in every musicians career when they return what they
really are after realizing most of the sand has passed
to the bottom of the glass.
The guitar piece is progressive folk or jazz. I play it
finger style and try to let the strings ring when
possible. One does not have to stick to the rhythmic
permutations that I score to get a decent realization
of the piece as in flamenco.
