This solo guitar arrangement by Atahualpa Yupanqui is
based on J.S. Bach's Sarabande from the 2nd Orchestral
Suite (BWV 1067). If you compare Don Atahuaplpa's solo
guitar recording from the 22nd of July 1967 to the
original, you may notice that his guitar version is
quite different and almost sounds like authentic music
from the Argentinian Pampas. This beautiful Sarabande
is such a rewarding piece to play as the style allows
