with oboe, harp, timpani & percussion.
The final "Hymnus" is a setting of the hymn text, "Who
Are These Like Stars Appearing," from the 1841 English
translation by F.E. Cox of the 1719 original by T.H.
Schenck.
Dedicated to victims of terminal illness, in memory of
the composer's mother, Marzell Martin Lein.
