Composer and musician from the Southwest United States releasing music under the artist name "Gillwire" with an upcoming 2020 recording project release "Classics with Crunch" which adapts classic favorites for electric guitar; mostly short songs traditionally for piano and keyboard but now arranged and performed with guitar, bass, percussion and some keyboard highlights. Living in Arizona most of his life Jonathan has been involved in diverse musical experiences since childhood including four years in the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, singing everything from songs in the western cowboy tradition to the Bach Magnificat. As a teenager he enjoyed participating in madrigal and jazz choirs and composing and performing with his alternative rock band. He studied music formally for a short time at Pima Community College and then at University of Arizona before continuing his various recording and performance projects through adulthood.
