LYRICS
JOE:
Time could be altered, the equations seem to say,
Now why don't we just come out and say it that way?

PROFESSOR DAVIS:
Your comfort now yours, you have paid for with your dreams;
Your star returns but your hopes are lost it seems.

PROFESSOR COMPTON:
It grows so hard to see your star in the dark night.
The star you saw in your youth now does not seem so bright.

PROFESSOR ADAMS:
At the end of a long starry night you must awake.
Your dreams must stay here on Earth for your family's sake.

JOE:
In our youth, we dream of the bright stars in the sky
And aim on the bright stars above our heads on high.
