What I especially like about your piano scores is that they never try to be more than they just are meant to be: simply-put, clearly written, melodic, and, mostly, unpretentious. This piece and your other piano solos are absolutely authentic music that speaks in precise language and that carries a message of great calm and peace.
↪ Good Morning Paul, Thank you so much for the wonderful comments! I think a good melody and a nice harmony are one of the most beautiful things in the world, anything more is often gilding the lily! And we all need more peace, and I'm glad that came through in listening to my pieces. I don't set out to write that way, but it just comes out that way. I am listening to some of yours now, one of your sonatas, it's quite beautiful and clear and clean, as well, we seem to share the same aesthetic. Thank you again, it inspires me to write more at a time when I've been too busy and put it aside.
