You're right, my dear Aaron. As always, in "Nynorsk" I explored the composition of "two notes" taken as a "pole". Of course, these two poles are often accompanied by notes known foreign, or hopping fifth (fourth). There is no counterpoint here, but only a "harmonization". The principle is simple. I write a short melody. I decide what note is main note. In fact, there are often two. And then I write the other voices. This method of composition is very rewarding for the imagination. You never forget to sing vocals. Friendly. François. Tu as raison, mon cher Aaron. Amicalement. François.

Ah, here, your music becomes at once melodic and harmonic: no clear direction--an ultra- melody. It sounds deceptively simple at first audition, but there is much to be explored in this short piece. Its development is more than simple vignette. The music is infinite, yet it encapsulates the whole. A sort of Gestalt experiment. Bis! Cher Francois.
