L g re Signature, a wider and shorter reed for stage musicians who wish to impose their sound. The Signature, the reed of YOUR sound. A reed shorter, wider, thinner than the Classic, this is what characterizes this Signature model. This particular design produces a clear, colorful sound of a wide spectrum of harmonics. With its quick response and great freedom of articulation, this reed is especially recommended for soloists, classical musicians or jazzmen, who share the same goal: the search for a personal sound signature. Guy L g re, a chemist (Ph.D. at McGill University) and clarinettist, and Mark Kortschot, a specialist in composite materials (Ph.D. at Cambridge University), worked together to find and develop the material that would be most suitable for offer optimal longevity and acoustic qualities.
