The combination of Flute and Guitar is becoming increasingly popular among music school pupils and concert performers. This publication From Renaissance To Ragtime expands the fairly narrow repertoire for this combination of instruments to include arrangements of famous compositions such as variations on the famous English Renaissance song Greensleeves famous melodies by Johann Sebastian Bach (Air Siciliana Badinerie) the popular Minuet by Luigi Boccherini Chopin's virtuoso Variations on a Theme of Rossini and Scott Joplin's popular ragtime tune The Entertainer(familiar from the film The Sting).
