The 20 pieces in Bel Canto were originally vocal exercises but have been adapted for brass instruments in order to help develop a musical and melodic way of playing. The human voice should, as it were, stand for the goal that brass players wish to achieve with the help of these singing etudes. This publication comes with a play-along CD featuring complete performances together with piano accompaniments. A separate piano accompaniment book is also available.

Auf der beiliegenden CD wurden die Vocalisen von Frits Damrow zusammen mit Klavierbegleitung eingespielt. Auch eine Version zum Mitspielen ist enthalten.

Vocalizzi italiani per tromba e pianoforte, arrangiati dal trombettista olandese Frits Damrow. I vocalizzi furono composti originariamente per lo sviluppo e l'apprendimento del canto. Si prestano pero in modo ottimale anche per i suonatori d'ottoni per ottenere una giusta tecnica di respirazione e per migliorare la qualita del suono. Il CD incluso propone una traccia con l'incisione dei vocalizzi con accompagnamento al pianoforte e una traccia di solo accompagnamento.
