Cloud Factory is an industrial piece, inspired by a huge steel plant in Holland. Following an opening section that recalls the sounds of the nearby North Sea, we hear the factory locomotives, the machinery and finally, with metallic timbres, the steel product is presented in musical form. Special vocal effects and unusual percussive sounds give this creative work an extraordinary feel!

Cloud Factory ist ein "industrielles" Stück, das von einer riesigen Stahlfabrik in Holland inspiriert wurde. Die Einheimischen nennen das Gelande Cloud Factory wegen der grossen Menge an Dampf und Rauch, die dort produziert wird. Nach der Eroffnung, deren Klange an die nahe Nordsee erinnern, werden nacheinander die Fabrikzüge, die stampfenden Maschinen und schliesslich mit "metallischen Klangen" das Endprodukt musikalisch wiedergegeben. Vokal oder z. B. mit Triangeln, Blasebalg und Blechdosen erzeugte Spezialeffekte verleihen diesem kreativen Werk noch einen Extra-Kick!

Cloud Factory est une composition ''industrielle'' s'inspirant d'une gigantesque acierie situee aux Pays-Bas que les habitants des environs surnomment Cloud Factory (la fabrique de nuages) en raison des enormes quantites de vapeur et de fumee qu'elle degage. L'introduction de l'oeuvre evoque le littoral de la mer du Nord, toile de fond du site industriel. Puis se succedent des martelements rythmiques et lancinants, rappelant les differents procedes de fabrication. Au final, tous les vents se melent aux percussions en produisant des sons metalliques. Une oeuvre impressionnante !

Cloud Factory e un brano che si puo definire "industriale", ispirato da un'enorme fabbrica di acciaio in Olanda. Gli abitanti chiamano l'area in cui sorge questo impianto "cloud factory" per l'enorme quantita di fumo e vapore che vengono prodotti. Dopo l'introduzione, che evoca i suoni del Mare del Nord, sono tradotti in musica i treni che collegano le varie sezioni della fabbrica, le macchine fumanti e infine il "prodotto finito" rappresentati da toni metallici. L'utilizzo di triangoli o semplicemente di lattine crea effetti speciali che aggiungeranno un tocco originale.
