This majestic setting of the Entrance Antiphon for Chrism Mass was a winning composition of the 2015 propers composition contest sponsored by the Conference of Roman Catholic Cathedral Musicians. An extended introduction for brass and organ is ideal for a solemn procession. The text from Revelation is set as a congregational refrain and choral verses. Verses 1-4, set in both English and Spanish, begin in unison for either cantor or unison choir and end with a choral response taken from Psalm 4. The setting culminates with the dramatic fifth verse, "Worthy is the lamb," which acts as a coda leading into the final refrain. The brass quintet parts may be adjusted for smaller ensembles.

Reproducible instrumental parts include: Two Trumpets in B-flat or C, Horn in F, Trombone(s), Tuba, and Timpani.
