Ludwig van Beethoven, baptised on the 17th of December 1770 in Bonn, was an active piano virtuoso until he became completely deaf. Afterwards he concentrated completely on compositions. He led Viennese classical music to the highpoint of its development through his symphonies and solo concertos and paved the way for the romantic period. Beethoven died on 26th March 1827 of serious liver cirrhosis after surviving a lung infection. 

This book/DVD set includes a DVD with a recording of a lesson from the White Hall of the Sheremetyev Palace in St. Petersburg, and a piano reduction with violin part, which was arranged and designated by Zakhar Bron according to the current state of violin technology.
