Gloria Estefan is a most successful latin singer of Cuban origin. She scored an impressive series of hits with the group 'Miami Sound Machine' in the eighties and nineties. Songs such as 'Dr. Beat' and 'Conga' became great successes in Europe. In 1993 a new successful record in Spanish 'Mi Tierra', with a.o. some typical salsa tunes, was released. Peter Kleine Schaars arranged several of the singer's most popular tunes into a fine and pleasant medley.
