This facsimile of an original by Francois Couperin is part of our French classical music collection. Le Parnasse or l'Apotheose of Corelli: Paris, 1724. Concert instrumental sous le titre d'apotheose compose a la memoire immortelle de l'incomparable Monsieur de Lully: Paris, 1725. Works in trio sonata form for two dessus parts and basso continuo. The first piece of the apotheose de Lully has a basse d'archet part which is separate from the continuo. Preface by Jean Saint-Arroman and Philippe Lescat: the characters of the two apotheoses.
Collection supervised by the musicologist Jean Saint-Arroman, professor at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris and at the CEFEDEM Ile de France (Training Centre for Music Teachers).
