This facsimile of an original by Georg Philipp Telemann is part of our Dominantes collection. Composed by Telemann for Paris and published during his stay there, this work is written for a typically French ensemble: flute, violin, bass viol, cello and continuo bass. In spite of the use of French terminology, these quartets are decidedly European in style, revealing both French, Italian and German influences. Preface in a separate volume. Collection supervised by the musicologist Jean Saint-Arroman, professor at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris and at the CEFEDEM Ile de France (Training Centre for Music Teachers).
